David Mansur is a long-standing fixture of New York political scenes who has led several of the most respected and successful city, state and federal fundraising campaigns. His fundraising strategy most recently resulted in the historic election of Letitia James as Attorney General of the state of New York.
In 2013, he co-founded Nashban Mansur LLC, which quickly became a top fundraising consulting firm in NYC. The firm evolved into Culver Place Strategies in 2018. Prior to launching his business, he headed statewide funding efforts for Eric Schneiderman’s successful bid for Attorney General, which raised over $8 million in 8 months. In 2008, he was behind the fundraising efforts which catapulted the NYS DSCC to historic highs of $15 million in three years and helped them take back the majority for the first time in 40 years. The NYS DCC also secured key victories for the committee, leadership, and their top candidates. David started his career in Wisconsin where he became the finance director for the Wisconsin Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee.
David was named to City & State 40 Under 40 Rising Star’s List in 2015 and their Pride Power 50 list in 2018. David has extensive experience with cultivating new and unexpected donors, while keeping sustaining supporters engaged and enthused. He takes every fundraising goal seriously, ensures his team gives equal attention to all their campaigns, and creates a plan to surpass even the most aggressive fundraising goals. David received his B.A. Marquette University. He currently lives in Brooklyn Heights.
Matt Bitz,
Senior VP for Strategic Development
Matt Bitz is the Vice President for Strategic Development at Culver Place Strategies and has been involved in New York City public service and politics for more than a decade. As the Legislative and Budget Director for New York City Council Majority Whip Inez Dickens, he passed legislation to ban smoking in front of hospitals and saw numerous affordable housing development project to completion through the ULURP process. In 2010, Matt left Council Member Dickens’ office to run for State Assembly in his home district in Wisconsin, raising over $20,000 in 2 months.
In 2012, he successfully managed the campaign to elect Ron Kim to the New York State Assembly. Under Matt’s stewardship, Mr. Kim became the first Korean-American to be elected to office in New York State history.
Matt has also taught policy in the Public Service Management program at City College of New York since Fall 2011. He holds a Masters in Public Administration from NYU’s Wagner School for Public Service and a degree in Business Administration from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Anthony D. Mendieta-Zamora,
VP of Operations
Anthony D. Mendieta-Zamora joined Culver Place Consulting, formerly Nashban Mansur, in 2017 starting as an intern to provide administrative support. Additionally, Anthony assists clients in their call time preparation, and expanding their prospecting lists. He provides integral support on multiple projects and clients. In 2023 Anthony took the project manager lead in Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez’s re-election campaign.
Anthony is currently attending Hunter College at CUNY, and will graduate with a B.A. in Media Studies. He previously attended the Baccalaureate School for Global Education where he was a recipient of the IB Diploma. Anthony is a lifelong resident of Queens.
